| Description |
English: Green Lane The wide hedges suggest a former droving route whether long distance from the Downs to the Weald or shorter between the village and the former common which lies north of Dean's Farm where the current green lane ends. Marked on early maps as a major route it failed to enter the vehicle era as the lane no longer heads to anywhere of importance. This section lies between the railway bridge and Shergolds Farm. |
