English: Green Flake's name, as engraved on a boulder in Salt Lake City's First Encampment Park. The park features boulders with the names of individuals who camped there on July 22, 1847, after first arriving in the Salt Lake Valley. Green Flake was one of three enslaved African-American men who entered the valley with the first group of Mormon pioneers.
