English: Greek School Gymnasium of Monastir (modern Bitola)
Ελληνικά: Συλλογική αναμνηστική φωτογραφία, η οποία απεικονίζει το Ελληνικό Γυμνάσιο Μοναστηρίου. Το Γυμνάσιο Μοναστηρίου άρχισε να λειτουργεί στα τέλη του δεκάτου ενάτου αιώνα και σε αυτό φοιτούσαν 200 περίπου μαθητές από την πόλη και από τη γειτονική περιοχή. Το Γυμνάσιο Μοναστηρίου αντικατέστησε το προϋπάρχον Ημιγυμνάσιο της πόλης, το οποίο λειτουργούσε ως Λύκειο από το 1838, και στεγάστηκε σε νεόδμητο μεγαλοπρεπές κτιριακό συγκρότημα που κτίστηκε με την οικονομική συνδρομή των Μοναστηριωτών. Τα προγράμματα και οι σπουδές του είχαν υψηλότατη μορφωτική και εκπαιδευτική στάθμη και ήταν ένα από τα επτά πιο παλιά και ονομαστά Γυμνάσια του Αλύτρωτου Ελληνισμού, από το Δυρράχιο μέχρι την Τραπεζούντα.
