Summary
[edit]DescriptionGreat Shutter Rock - geograph.org.uk - 583870.jpg |
English: Great Shutter Rock Looking south from near the foot of the Montagu Steps. Local legend has it that the Great Shutter Rock would be a perfect fit into the cavity of the Devil's Limekiln, which is only about 300 metres away to the east. The sea was unusually calm on this day - normally the Atlantic swell boils around these rocks. |
