English: Great Barn Field The name of the field according to the 1838 tithe map and formerly part of Streat Common that was enclosed in the early 17th century. Now extended westwards to the parish boundary to include Five Acres, Four Acres and Furze Field. Downs House is in the distance on the left whilst beyond is Weald. |
