[edit]
Description
English: Grazing swans near Tarrant Crawford Mute swans were known centuries as 'birds royal' because only the king, or those licensed by the Royal Swanherd, could keep them. Mutes are Britain's only resident species of swan and one of the world's heaviest flying birds, weighing up to 40lbs. Here the swans are grazing on a large field of grass.
