Description
English: Gravestones at St Tysilio's Cemetery The great and the good of Porthaethwy are buried on St Tysilio's Island. One of these, a household name in Welsh Wales, is Cynan - Sir Albert Cynan Evans-Jones (1895-1970)- minister of religion, archdruid, poet, the Lord Chamberlain's Welsh censor, and the leading figure in the modern development of the ancient rituals of the National Eisteddfod's Gorsedd of Bards of Ynys Prydain.
