The grave of Victor and Nora Gautier in Genthod GE, Switzerland.

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The tomb of Victor Gautier (1891-1965) - Swiss lawyer, banker and politician - and of his wife Eléonore, née Fatio (1894-1976), at the cemetery of Genthod in the canton of Geneva. The grave slab bears an inscription dedicated to him with a quote wrongly attributed to the Book of Isaiah, chapter 18, verse 5, which is actually from the Book of Ezekiel, chapter 18, verse 5. The inscription dedicated to her bears a quote which is wrongly attributed to the Book of Ezekiel, chapter 4, verse 7, whereas it is actually from the Epistle to the Philippians, chapter 4, verse 7.
