Description
Deutsch: Auf dem Bild ist das neu sanierte Haus Große Klausstraße 3 (Grashof) und im Hintergrund das sogen. Graseweghaus (Graseweg 6) zu sehen. Beide sind die schönsten Fachwerkhäuser in Halle (Saale). Nach allumfassender Meinung führt der Name Graseweg auf ein Geschehnis im 15. Jahrhundert zurück. Demnach hat sich in diesem Weg die Pest zuerst ausgebreitet. Die Stadtoberen ließen den Weg, samt Anwohnern, einmauern. Nach mehr als 10 Jahren wurde der Graseweg wieder geöffnet und man fand einen zugewucherten Weg, gespickt mit Skeletten. Neben der Sage von der Pest lässt sich der Name auf den Ritter von Busso Grashof zurückführen. Die Grashofs haben in diesem Weg ihren Stammsitz gehabt.
