Description
English: Beacon Lane just east of its junction with Sandon Road, at Grantham, Lincolnshire, England. The buildings on the right are today part of the the NHS Beaconfield Centre for mental health services. On the left are buildings of the old Grantham Barracks. Beacon Lane carries on uphill to what is still known as 'the hills and hollows'. Card posted 1917. One of the Pelham Series of photo postcards.
