English: Grant Lodge Grant Lodge dates from about 1750, and it was the town house of the Earls of Seafield. It was gifted to the town by Sir George Cooper in 1903 with the surrounding park. It housed the library until a new library was built nearby, then the local heritage centre until the building was damaged byfire in 2003. Its future is the subject of active debate. |
