| Description |
English: This is a tan and mustard yellow 1918 "Grant Convertible All-Weather Coupe" Model G. This car has the serial number 35014. This car has a number of features which stuck out to me, including how the rear wheel meets the cab, and the very spartan bumper. This model is clearly more advanced then the two next to it, though I think I may have had more fun in those if the weather were good.
Unlike the other two Grant automobiles in the lineup at the museum, this vehicle was manufactured in Cleveland, Ohio instead of Findlay, Ohio, and was manufactured for the Canadian market. The plaque notes that this was once displayed in the Canadian Automotive Museum. It is important to note that the plaque next to the vehicle states that the tires on this vehicle are not original, and consist of 1920 Canadian made Firestone tires. Additionally, unlike the other cars at the museum, this car is explicitly stated to be on loan, and not owned by the museum at the time of this writing. |
