Description
English: Eastbound Granny Road at the intersection with the southern terminus of Adirondack Drive in Farmingville, New York. Granny Road is a road that originally ran from Farmingville to Yaphank (now Gordon Heights), New York and is named after a legendary 19th Century Afro-American midwife and part time doctor known as "Granny Penny ." Adirondack Drive is one of the local Town of Brookhaven Streets known as one of the steep hill-climbing roads that run above the Ronkonkoma Moraine between Farmingville and Selden, New York.
