Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Granite outcrop Beautiful, sea-washed outcrop of the Thorr Granite, which is the oldest of a set of plutonic intrusions emplaced in Donegal during the Caledonian orogeny between 420 and 390 million years ago. Jointing of the pink-coloured granite is accentuated by erosion in these coastal exposures.
