Description
English: Insect traces, possibly by Ips acuminatus, in pinus log in "Loftbod from Nitten" from Grangärde Hembygdsgård (Grangärde local heritage museum) The log was probably a dry pine dead about 1750 (dendrochronological date) and used in a previous building perhaps 1765 (as other reused logs in the building). The incect traces are about 2 mm width, and there are some blue colored wood visible.
