Description

The town of Grande Riviere is named after the river that flows through it and into the ocean. We took the chance to kayak upstream and see deeper into the forests.

Because of shallow water, we left the kayak and hiked upstream further only to come back and find the kayak floating away with three Trinidadian children aboard. Fortunately we hid the paddles and they weren't able to make a quick getaway so they bailed and we got our craft back.
