nd the necessary out-buildings, and for a period not exceeding tenyears ; but such lease shall not include any of the geysers or other objects ofcuriosity or interest in said park, or exclude the public from the free and con-venient approach thereto; or include any ground within one quarter of a mileof any of the geysers or the Yellowstone Falls, nor shall there be leased morethan ten acres to any one person or corporation; nor shall any hotel or otherbuildings be erected within the park until such lease shall be executed by theSecretary of the Interior, and all contracts, agreements, or exclusive privilegesheretofore made or given in regard to said park, or any part thereof, are herebydeclared to be invalid; nor shall the Secretary of the Interior, in any leasewhich he may make and execute, grant any exclusive privileges within saidpark, except upon the ground leased. No generalsurvey having been made, these boundaries do not describeany natural divisions. They include a region which stretchesa few miles east of the meridian of iio^ west longitude, andabout the same distance west of the meridian of iii^, and afew miles north of the parallel of 45^, and not quite so farsouth as 44^ north latitude.
