| Description |
The Grand Parade was and still is held on the first saturday of the show on the Main Arena. It is a display of live stock primeraly cattle and horses however nowe includes some alpaca. Through out its life it also featured Clydesdales and Heavy Harness and Driving and Light Harness classes. It currently features more horses (however less children riders), than cattle due to incidents where cattle have gone loose this happened in the 1947 show, simillar incidents at interstate shows have lead to the removal of horses in the parade at the Melbourne Show. |
