Deutsch: Kaufhaus der ehemaligen Arbeitersiedlung Marienthal in Gramatneusiedl / Niederösterreich / / Österreich / Europäische Union, wo Paul Lazarsfeld seine Studie Die Arbeitslosen von Marienthal durchführte. Anschlagtafel der SG Neunkirchen am Gebäude: „Consum / Museum Marienthal. 1864: Errichtet von der Textilfabrik Marienthal für den von ihr finanziell unterstützten, 1864 gegründeten Consum-Verein Marienthal. Die Leitung des Consum lag in den Händen der Arbeiterschaft mit der Fabrikdirektion als Präsidium. Die Preise der en gros eingekauften Lebensmittel lagen für die Vereinsmitglieder 1864 ebenso wie bei der Fabrikschließung 1929/30 zwischen 15 und 25 Prozent unter den ortsüblichen Preisen. 1931: Übersiedlung des Consum-Vereins Marienthal, unterschiedliche Nutzung des Gebäudes. 2008: Schleifung des teilweise eingestürzten Gebäudes; originalgetreuer Wiederaufbau des Consums 2009. 2010: Eröffnung des Museums Marienthal in Kooperation von Marktgemeinde Gramatneusiedl, Archiv für die Geschichte der Soziologie in Österreich (Universität Graz) sowie Gemeinnütziger Wohnungs- und Siedlungsgenossenschaft Neunkirchen (SGN) als Informations- und Dokumentationsstelle, aber auch als Stätte der Erinnerung an die Arbeiterkolonie Marienthal und die weltweit berühmte Studie „Die Arbeitslosen von Marienthal. Ein soziographischer Versuch über die Wirkungen langandauernder Arbeitslosigkeit.“ Leipzig, 1933.“ Im Vordergrund befindet sich ein leerer Parkplatz.
