Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Graffiti on beech trees This public woodland, part of Hercules Wood, separates a public footpath from a very busy Blickling Road. The path turns off Blickling Road, leading through Hercules Wood and emerging by a field further to the west, connecting with New Road. It here follows a barbed wire fence, the woodland behind which is owned by the National Trust and not open to the public. Graffiti has been carved into the bark of the two ancient beech trees seen in the foreground. In fact there appears to be not a single old beech here that has escaped unscathed.
