Graffiti in Slävik harbor

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Graffiti or tags on the cliffs in Slävik harbor, Lysekil Municipality, Sweden. In many of the small harbors along the west coast, people have been painting their names and/or the names of their boat. This tagging started during the 1950s when crews from ships wrote the names of their ships and the date they made that particular port, on the cliffs. Some of the oldest tags can still be seen in sheltered places, if it was done with durable paint.
