中文：塗鴉指在公共、私有設施或牆壁上的人為和有意圖的標記。塗鴉可以是圖畫，也可以是文字。未經設施擁有者許可的塗鴉一般屬违法或犯罪行為。
Türkçe: Grafiti, çoğunlukla kamusal bir alanda yer alan bir duvar ya da yüzeye çizilmiş, kazınmış veya püskürtülmüş yazı ve çizimlerdir.
Kelime, Yunanca "graphein" (yazmak ) kelimesinden gelmiş ve İtalyanca "sgraffio" (karalamak) kelimesinden türemiştir. İlk çağlardan beri bir durumu resmetme, tanımlama ya da dikkat çekme yöntemlerinden birisidir. Bugün bilinen anlamıyla grafiti, 1960'ların sonlarında Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nin hip hop kültürüyle birlikte doğmuştur.
Svenska: Graffiti syftar på text ibland med samband med bilder som i konstnärligt syfte uppförts på ytor i det offentliga rummet av privatpersoner. Termen avser oftast den graffiti som "från 1970-talets början utvecklats av ungdomar i USA, som under subkulturella och oftast illegala former gör tags, throw-ups och pieces eller bilder som innehåller något av dessa formelement, huvudsakligen med sprayburkar på exempelvis murar,väggar och tåg".

Română: Graffito la plural graffiti este un termen din arheologie care desemnează o inscripție sau un desen executat fie cu pigmenți de culoare roșie, fie prin zgâriere, descoperite pe monumentele antice.
Norsk bokmål: Graffiti er tekster eller tegninger som blir malt eller risset inn på offentlige steder, for eksempel på vegger og murer, eller underganger som oftest anonymt. I hiphopmiljøet blir disse gjerne omtalt som pieces og kunstnerne omtales som writers.
日本語: 落書き（らくがき、落書）とは、以下のようなものである。
हिन्दी: दीवारकला या ग्रफ़ीटी (graffiti) दीवारों पर बनी लिखाईयों और चित्रों को कहते हैं। यह एक प्रकार की जनकला है और अक्सर ग़ैर-क़ानूनी होती है।
Dansk: Graffiti er en kunstform og subkultur udført med spraymaling på store flader som vægge og mure. Graffitimalerne er kendt for at male deres "pieces" (malerier) og "tags" (personlige underskrift) i det offentlige rum, hvor det er ulovligt. Det har betydelige omkostninger for både samfundet, som fjerner ulovlig graffiti hærværk, og malerne, der skal betale for fjernelsen. |
