Description
Deutsch: Familiengrab Wempe, ausgehend vom deutschen Uhrmacher und Unternehmensgründer Gerhard D. Wempe, Friedhof Ohlsdorf, Planquadrat P 29 (nördlich Kapelle 10). Das Grabmonument wurde 1922 vom deutschen Bildhauer Hans W. Dammann (1867-1942) geschaffen.
Gerhard Wempes Tochter, die Widerstandskämpferin, Archivarin und Privatlehrerin Gerda Wempe (1896-1992), verheiratete Rosenbroock, wurde bei ihrem Ehemann ebenfalls auf dem Ohlsdorfer Friedhof bestattet, der Kissenstein wurde im Oktober 2018 in den Garten der Frauen aufgenommen.
