Deutsch: Grünhain: St. Nicolai-Kirche - 1808 bis 1812 als klassizistische Saalkirche gebaut. „Der große helle Saal mit flacher Putzdecke und umlaufenden, zweigeschossigen, von Pfeilern getragenen Emporen, die im Bogen hinter dem Kanzelaltar weitergeführt und dort zu verglasten Betstuben ausgebaut sind. Orgelempore leicht vorgewölbt“ (Dehio, Kunstführer, Sachsen II, 1998, Seite 375) Der Kanzelaltar datiert von 1812, das Taufbecken ist auch klassizistisch. An den in Grünhain geborenen Johann Hermann Schein (1596 – 1630, Barockkomponist – „Isrealisbrünnlein“ – und Thomaskantor) erinnern im Altarbereich ein Portrait und eine Gedenktafel aus dem Jahr 1897. Die ungewöhnliche blaue Beleuchtung der Betstuben und die Scheinwerfer sind eine Inszenierung des „Musikfests Erzgebirge“ anläßlich des Konzerts am 16. September 2014. Links das Portrait Johann Hermann Scheins, eine Arbeit aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, die nach einem Bildnis des Komponisten aus seinen Lebzeiten entstand. |
