Description
English: Gower memorial, Cilgerran church This white marble tablet erected in memory of Abel Anthony Gower of Castell Malgwyn who died in 1837, and his sister Adaliza Gower of Glandovan, who dies in 1839, was erected by members of the family who styled themselves merchants, of Leghorn, Marseilles and New Granada South America. A later member of this family is David Gower, the English cricketer, who spent some holidays at Castell Malgwyn.
