DescriptionGovernor of NSW Admiral Sir Harry Woldsworth Rawson seated seated next to his daughter, Alice Rawson, 1908 (7373476510).jpg |
English: This stereoscope card depicts the Governor of NSW Admiral Sir Harry Woldsworth Rawson and his daughter, Alice Rawson, with his Aide-de-camp Leslie Orme Wilson and Secretary in uniform. This photograph was taken prior to the visit of the American Great White Fleet in 1908. Stereoscope cards were a popular memento of the Great White Fleet visit. They were produced in sets with images of the ships, parades and decorations and allowed the viewer to see a photograph as a three-dimensional image. Object no. 00046748 |
