Summary
[edit]DescriptionGovernor Hotel Building, Market Street and 4th Street, Harrisburg, PA.jpg |
English: Built in 1908, this Queen Anne-style building was constructed as the Metropolitan Hotel, and was eventually expanded and renamed the Governor Hotel. The building features a brick exterior, heavily modified roofline due to an adaptive reuse project in the mid-20th Century, decorative stone lintels and stone sills, a cylindrical corner turret, a first floor storefront at the Market Street end of the building, and a multi-story oriel window over the entrance to the building on the Market Street facade. The building presently houses apartments. |
