English: FORT INDIANTOWN GAP - Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf met with the acting state adjutant general, Maj. Gen. James Joseph, and other PA National Guard and Dept. of Military and Veterans Affairs leadership Feb. 27 to be briefed on the mission of the PA National Guard, the capabilities and economic impact of Fort Indiantown Gap, and the mission of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA). The nearly 20,000-member PNG is one of the largest in the nation, the 17,000-acre National Guard training center facilitates over 100,000 troops per year, and the DMVA serves Pennsylvania's nearly one million veterans with benefit and support programs including six veterans homes.
