English: Gourock, the Clyde, Strone Point and Holy Loch View from Lyle Hill.
From the back of the photo, the start (or end) of Holy Loch lies at the rear left of the picture. Strone Point forms the string of houses to the left of the right headland. Gourock is the chunk in the foreground, and apart from the sky, the rest is the Clyde. The Clyde, the wonderful Clyde! http://www.incallander.co.uk/scottishsongs/song41.htm |
