| Description |
English: Gore Cliff, near St Catherine's Point. This is where the westbound undercliff road terminates in 2004. The original road disappeared in one of the larger landslips in the early 20th century. It originally connected with Blackgang. This chalk and clay coastal area is highly prone to slumping. There is a fascinating visitor centre that contains much geological and geographical information in Ventnor. |
