ease the heat in the living room. In the hall is the attic stairway. The attic isfloored and offers many possibilities in utilizingthis extra space. The kitchen is as compact and convenient as anykitchen can be. This room is equipped with two bigGordon-Van Tine kitchen cases, styles A and B, asillustrated in the colored section. The plan makesprovision for a vent register to chimney flue—theair in the kitchen will always be clean and fresh, asodors are quickly passed off through this vent. Like many of our bungalows this house is builtlow-down with cellar sash in open areas. Thus isobtained the desired effect. The front porch andside stoop are only two steps high—you arepractically on the ground level. The mantle, dome damper, ash trap and ash pitdoor for the fireplace are furnished as well as theattractive flower boxes shown. We know youll want to build this pretty, com-fortable home and will gladly assist you. For Plumbing, Heating, Lighting for This Home, See Last Pages of Book

The heavyporch frieze, the outlined belt course, as wellas the shed roof over the dining roomwindows, all add to the popular low, broadeffect wanted in the bungalow. This is made more pronounced by theshingles used above the belt course. Byextending the siding to the grade line amuch better effect has been obtained thancould be had by exposing the foundation. The living room is unusually light and ismade more roomy by the broad cased open-ing into the dining room. The wall spacewell arranged for the placing of _ furniture. These same facts are true of the dining
