Slovenščina: Pelargonije (Pelargonium) so rože, ki izvirajo iz južne Afrike. Te obsegajo okrog 220 do 280 vrst, ostale pa izvirajo iz tropske Afrike, prednje Azije in Avstralije, ter nekaterih otokov Indijskega oceana. V Evropo so prišle leta 1701. Kljub obilici okrasnih rastlin je pelargonija v Sloveniji še vedno ena izmed najbolj priljubljenih okenskih in balkonskih rastlin.
Deutsch: Pelargonien (Pelargonium) sind Blumen, die im südlichen Afrika beheimatet sind. Sie umfassen etwa 220–280 Arten, während die übrigen im tropischen Afrika, Vorderasien und Australien sowie auf einigen Inseln des Indischen Ozeans beheimatet sind. Sie wurden 1701 nach Europa gebracht. Trotz der Fülle verfügbarer Zierpflanze ist die Pelargonie immer noch eine der beliebtesten Fenster- und Balkonpflanzen in Slowenien. |
