Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Penabuh Gong Waning secara lengkap terdiri dari sembilan orang sesuai dengan jumlah perangkat yang ada dalam musik Gong Waning namun kadang bisa juga dirangkap jika kekurangan penabuh gong waning.

Adapun perangkat musik Gong Waning yaitu:

Waning yaitu gendang besar, terbuat dari batang kelapa dengan kulit sapi/kambing yang kering (menghasilkan bunyi bas)

Dodor yaitu gendang kecil, yang terbuat dari batang kelapa dengan kulit sapi/kambing yang sudah kering (menghasilkan bunyi tenor)

Gong dengan ukuran paling besar sampai paling kecil dengan nada paling rendah sampai yang paling tinggi yaitu Gong Ina Wa’a, Gong Ina Depo, Gong Lepe, Gong Higo Hagong, Gong Udong. (Gong higo hagong adalah 2 gong yang berdeda tapi dimainkan dalam 1 paket).

Peli Anak yaitu sepotong bambu yang biasa digunakan untuk menjadi stabilitas irama pukulan Gong Waning.

Alat musik Gong Waning ini menghasilkan berbagai jenis irama seperti Irama Todu, Irama Badu Blabat, Irama Glebak, dan Irama Leke. Karena beragamnya irama yang dihasilkan, Gong Waning bisa mengiringi jenis tarian lain yang disesuaikan dengan iramanya. Untuk tarian Hegong sendiri biasanya menggunakan irama Badu Blabat.
