Gold quarter stater of Cunobelinus
Description
English: A gold Iron Age coin; a quarter stater of Cunobelinus (dating from AD 10 - 40) of the Catuvellauni and Trinovantes (Eastern Region). Cunobelinus Plastic type with a corn ear without a central stalk and MV to the right, and on the reverse, a horse rearing right with dashes for the mane. See ABC 2816 on page 137. The coin is 11mm diameter, 2.1mm thick and 1.38g.
