Deutsch: Brief Johann Wolfgang von Goethes mit Unterschrift "Goethe", Weimar 13. Januar 1807, an den Weimarer Hofapotheker Professor Carl August Hofmann; mit der Bitte, "nach beykommenden Briefe, den ich mir wieder zurück erbitte, die darin verordnete Salbe für mich besorgen, ingleichen etwa 2 Loth Carlsbader Salz in Portionen von ½ Quentchen theilen zu lassen. - Bey dieser Gelegenheit wollte für die Zukunft die Einrichtung vorschlagen, daß nur diejenigen Arzneyen, welche für mich Frau und Sohn bestimmt sind, notirt, alles übrige für mein Haus verlangte nur gegen baare Bezahlung abgegeben würde, weil sich mit den Domestiken sonst die Sache nicht übersehen läßt ...".
