Español: En la reunión participaron además Juan Marroquín, jefe de gabinete del gobernador; Sergio Tunesi, abogado de la gobernación y el capitán de corbeta, Francisco Villar.

Tras la reunión, Prieto informó que en el borde costero “hay un problema detectado que es la ocupación ilegal de muchas zonas, donde no existe ningún tipo de regularización y la gente no tiene títulos de dominio”.

Recalcó que hay mucha gente que está allí por necesidad, “es decir, no tiene otro lugar donde vivir. Sin embargo también hay mucha gente que ha construido sus casas para luego usufructuar de eso, es decir, lucrar con terrenos públicos, arrendando cabañas o las casas por el fin de semana”.

Ante esta situación, y recordando que el borde costero es de todos los chilenos y que no existen playas privadas, el gobernador Gonzalo Prieto reiteró que se estudiarán las ocupaciones que buscan el lucro “para actuar de acuerdo a la ley” y en el caso de las familias vulnerables “estudiar soluciones habitacionales definitivas”.

Por su parte, el gobernador marítimo informo que ellos tenían catastradas todas las ocupaciones ilegales del borde costero y que respaldan las acciones que tomará la gobernación provincial para recuperar el borde costero para todos.
