English: Gloucestershire Airport viewed from the roof of a WW2 pillbox View looks south-westwards across Bamfurlong Lane and down the main runway of Gloucestershire Airport with the control tower and airport buildings on the left. The Churchdown Hill outlier is immediately behind the airfield and Robinswood Hill on the right in the far distance. The blast wall is visible in the foreground on this hexagonal variant pillbox with excellent views over the airfield. |
