Summary

[edit]
Description

Figures from the Old & New Testament by Heaton, Butler and Bayne, 1899. Figures depict Simon, Jude, Matthias, James and Phillip, and below Isaiah, Jeremiah, David, Exekial, and Daniel. Several of the heads in this window are from photographs of the Lee family - Sir Joseph Lee was one of the founders of Tootal, the famous tie manufacturers. Unfortunately it is located in the series of Whall windows of the Lady Chapel, and it was not replaced, even though Whall offered.

The photographic likenesses are interesting historically however.
