Deutsch: Die Globensteiner Weihnachtspyramide, die die Firma Carl Ludwig Flemming in Globenstein bei Schwarzenberg/Erzgebirge von etwa 1900 bis 1948 herstellte, ist eine Besonderheit: Im Erzgebirge entstanden Weihnachtspyramiden meistens als Einzelstücke, die geschickte Männer neben ihrem Beruf konstruierten und bauten, eher als Freizeitbeschäftigung oder um etwas hinzu zu verdienen. Zur Produktpalette der Firma C. L. Flemming wgehörten im wesentlichen Holzartikel wie Hobelbänke, Haus- und Küchengeräte, Vogelkäfige, Handwagen und Kleinmöbel. Um 1900 entwickelte sie ein Pyramidensystem, für das sie auch Holzreste aus der Hauptproduktion verwenden konnte. Die Konstruktion erlaubte, daß Weihnachtspyramiden unterschiedlicher Höhe angeboten werden konnten. Die Flügel konnten senkrecht an den Seiten in die Böden gesteckt und die Kerzenhalter hochgeklappt werden. Dies machte einen Versand in Kartons mit platzsparender Verpackung möglich. Der Transportkarton eignete sich auch zum Aufbewahren der Weihnachtspyramide, wenn sie nicht verwendet wurde. Für ihr Serienprodukt, das es mit und ohne Figuren sowie mit und ohne Geläut gab, warb sie in vielen Zeitungen. Sie verschickte ihre Weihnachtspyramiden in Kartons mit der Post, in guten Zeiten über 5000 Stück im Jahr. Dieses Exemplar wurde 1935 an den Malermeister Gustav Baumann in Neuölsnitz gesandt. Der Versandkarton belegt es. Er bestellte seine Weihnachtspyramide mit Geläut. Diese Pyramide hat noch die originale Farbe aus der Entstehungszeit. Die Figuren können nach Belieben auf die Teller gestellt werden. – Hier der obere Teil der Weihnachtspyramide: Die vier Glöckchen des Geläuts werden beim Drehen der Achse durch die von den Kerzen aufsteigende Wärme durch die Stifte angeschlagen. Der Ring mit den Stiften läßt sich nach oben verschieben und fixieren, so daß sich diese Weihnachtspyramide auch ohne das Läuten drehen kann. |
