Summary

[edit]
Description The Global Mammal Richness Grids represent the number of species at a 1-km grid cell resolution. The grid cell values denote the number of species in a particular family or International Union of Conservation Networks (IUCN) Redlist threat category. This map represents the richness grid of All Mammals and is part of the Gridded Species Distribution collection, which consists of the global distribution of amphibians and mammals. Species are grouped by class, family and by three major threat categories: critically endangered, endangered, and vulnerable.
