Description
English: Intermediate magnification micrograph of a glioblastoma, previously glioblastoma multiforme (abbreviated GBM). HPS stain.

The images show the characteristic features of glioblastoma: necrosis, cells with astrocyte-like processes and marked nuclear pleomorphism, mitoses and microvascular proliferation.

A piece of near-normal white matter is present on the left aspect of the lower power images.
