Description
Deutsch: Glashütte: Wappen und Entfernungsangaben der 1734 errichteten kursächsische Postmeilensäule. Die Entfernungen sind in Wegstunden angegeben, eine Wegstunde entsprach 4,531 km, zwei Wegstunden entsprachen einer Postmeile. Demnach betrug beispielsweise die Entfernung nach Schmiedeberg zwei Stunden bzw. eine Postmeile bzw. 9.062 km.
English: en:Glashütte: The electoral saxonian coat of arms and the table of distances on the post mile pillar from 1734. The distances are expressed as "hours" (one hour is equivalent to 4,531 km).
