Summary

[edit]
Description

Work had been going on behind the scenes to bring ex-Paisley car 68 back to its appearance as Glasgow 1068 and the completed project was unveiled during September 2012.

1068 was new to Paisley Corporation in 1919 and only ran as a Paisley tram for four years, becoming Glasgow's 1068 in 1923 and running on the blue routes prior to World War 2, eventually moving to Crich in the early nineteen sixties.
