Description Erection of the overhead wires for the Edinburgh Tram line in Shandwick Place, which hang in close proximity to the Gladstone Memorial, which sits in the green space formed by Coates Crescent/Shandwick Place. The West End Princes Street tram stop is out of shot, just to the left. The buildings beyond are those of Atholl Crescent, which mirrors the shape of Coates Crescent to form an oval.
