| Description |
English: Glade in The Grove Glades are excellent ways of increasing diversity in woodland, by allowing light to reach the ground so encouraging different plants and butterflies. The advantage of power lines is that the maintenance of the glade is paid for by the power companies. The Grove is unusual in this area in having a footpath through a wood, rather than round the edge. |
