Description
Português: Ilustração simplificada mostra o afundamento da crosta pela carga das geleiras e o seu posterior retorno à posição original. Este é um processo automático que acontece durante um longo período de tempo.
English: This illustration depicts the stress under which the curst layer undergoes when compressed by the load of a glacier and what happens when the load is released. As seen on the below illustration, the crust layer bounces back to its previous position. This is an automatic process that takes place over a long period of time.
