This is a photograph of an architectural monument. It is on the list of cultural monuments of Glückstadt, no. 3011. Deutsch: Glückstadt (Schleswig-Holstein) – Am Hafen 40 – Königshof mit Wiebke-Kruse-Turm – Baujahre: 1873/74 1630/31 – Der Königshof“ war das erste Wohnhaus König Christians IV. aus der Gründungszeit der Stadt. Er nutzte es bis zur Fertigstellung seines Glückstädter Schlosses, das bis 1631 in unmittelbarer Nähe errichtet wurde. 1638 ging das Palais als Geschenk an seine Geliebte Wiebke Kruse. Das Gebäude wurde nach einem Brand im 19. Jahrhundert abgebrochen. Erhalten blieben der polygonale Treppenturm mit geschweifter Doppelhaube, Reichsapfel und Reiter an der Wetterfahnenstange sowie Wendeltreppe und der gewölbte Keller. – Auf den Fundamenten des abgebrochenen Gebäudes wurde bis 1873/74 ein Wohngebäude in den Formen des Historismus errichtet (weißes Haus im Bild). Es ist dreigeschossiger Traufenbau mit dezenter spätklassizistischer Putzgliederung und dekorativ ausgemaltem Eingangsflur. |
