This is a photograph of an architectural monument.
It is on the list of cultural monuments of Glückstadt, no. 1886. Glückstadt (Schleswig-Holstein) – Am Markt 9 – Dreigeschossiges Traufenhaus – Baujahr: 18./19. Jahrhundert – Das dreigeschossige, traufständige Haus wird von einem Walmdach gedeckt. Die Bauzeit wird unterschiedlich angegeben (nach Dehio 18./19. Jahrhundert). Der Grundriss des Hauses ist nicht genau rechtwinklig, sondern passt sich den sternförmig auf den Marktplatz zulaufenden Straßen an. – Sieben Fensterachsen sind auf der Marktseite zu sehen, wobei die rechten drei Fenster im ersten Obergeschoss deutlich erhöht sind. Darunter befindet sich eine offene Durchfahrt zum rückseitigen Bereich, wo sich ein Anbau anschließt. Beim Anbau handelt es sich um ein zweigeschossiges Gebäude mit einseitig abgewalmtem Satteldach und vorkragendem Fachwerk-Obergeschoss. – Seit 1792 war der Kaufmann und Reeder Chr. Conrad Hinrich Löhmann (1763- 1830) Eigentümer des Hauses, weshalb es noch heute oft als Löhmannhaus bezeichnet wird. Dem Reeder gehörte die Glückstädter Walfangflotte mit den Briggs Fortuna, Jungfrau Lucia und Fredericia, der Bark Neuenkirchen und dem Vollschiff Der Kleine Heinrich. – Heute ist ein Hausverwaltungsunternehmen im Gebäude ansässig, im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine Eisdiele (Stand 2023). |
