Description
Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Gjøngehøvdingen, der foregår under og efter den Første Karl Gustav-krig i 1657-1658. Gjøngehøvdingen Svend Poulsens hus ved enden af Roneklints bymarker. Huset er næsten skjult af de omkringliggende bakker og skoven bag det. Som sneen på tegningen antyder, var vinteren 1657-1658 usædvanlig hård og kold.
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Gjøngehøvdingen by Carit Etlar which takes place during and after the Dano-Swedish War in 1657-1658. The house of Svend Poulsen, Gjøngehøvdingen, at the fields of Roneklint. The house is nearly hidden by the hills and forest around it. As the snowy drawing indicates the winter of 1657-1658 was unusually hard and cold.
