Description
Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Gjøngehøvdingen, der foregår under og efter den Første Karl Gustav-krig i 1657-1658. Den kongelige karet med Kong Frederik 3. og Sophie Amalie og vognene med deres følge forlader Jungshoved Slot. Slottet blev ødelagt kort efter under den Anden Karl Gustav-krig i 1658-1660. Det var dog næppe så imponerende som på tegningen.
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Gjøngehøvdingen by Carit Etlar which takes place during and after the Dano-Swedish War in 1657-1658. The horse carriage with King Frederick III and Queen Sophie Amalie and the carriages with their their retinue leaves Jungshoved Castle. The castle met its end during the next Dano-Swedish War in 1658–1660. It was probably not so impressive as in the drawing, however.
